On Call Advocates
On-Call Advocates are volunteers who sign up to be called into action when the moment is right. They raise their collective voices to be heard by state legislators and other state decision makers about critical food systems policy issues. They write emails and letters, make phone calls and send text messages when a priority bill comes up for a hearing. They send out invitations to their state senators and representatives when it’s time to invite elected officials to join us at the annual Good Food Policy Day and Farm Visit for Legislators. They help get the word out when our annual good food policy priority platform is announced.
