On October 11, RIFPC hosted the second of a three-part series, Policy for the People: Food Advocacy 101
More than forty attendees joined the free event virtually, listening to a comprehensive overview of how laws are made in Rhode Island, learning about RIFPC’s 2023 policy priorities, and hearing a panel discussion that highlighted the importance of collaboration and the power of coalitions, as well as recent successes in advocating for policy change at the state level.
Special thanks to Steven Arthurs, Diane Lynch, Kerri Connolly, Priscilla De La Cruz, and Ryan Mulcahey for leading the discussion and sharing your expertise at this session.
