Requests for Presentations and Workshops for Compost Conference and Trade Show at Rhode Island College, happening March 2023

The Rhode Island College Compost Conference and Trade Show will be held on March 8, 2023 as a convening of organizations and individuals that contribute to wasted food solutions. Come together to learn and network with the people doing the work to recover and recycle food waste in Southern New England!

Interested in sharing what you know about compost and food recovery? We are looking for workshops, lightning talks, and educational tables on how to make compost, compost collection sites, helping schools reduce food waste, reducing food waste at home, reducing food waste at restaurants, composting with worms, and more!

Proposal Guidelines:

  1. Title of Proposal
  2. Proposal Description:Outline, description, or summary of your presentation. Please indicate instructional techniques, as well as content of your presentation.
  3. Format(choose all that apply):
    • Lightning talk (15 minutes + Q and A)
    • Full workshop (30 minutes + Q and A)
    • Table
    1. Audience: Which audience would most benefit from your talk (public audiences, schools, youth, businesses, etc.)
