Lets’ celebrate the people working in fields and over fires to feed us!
Let’s recognize the many powerful programs, points of access, and opportunities that are improving equity and resilience for all Rhode Islanders!
We’re hosting a social media photo contest. Join us on Instagram and Facebook to celebrating the people responsible for creating #JustGoodFoodRI
We’re a co-sponsor of this year’s URI Honors Colloquium, and while we prepare to present on Tuesday, December 13, we’ll share photo prompts with you about the six major parts of Rhode Island’s food system: Agriculture, Seafood, Consumption, Distribution, Processing, Wasted Food
All Rhode Islanders contribute to the food system in one way or another, and it’s important to understand how those connections and interactions impact our everyday lives. It’s equally important to understand the influence it has on our socioeconomic conditions and our culture, and the differences we have in access to it, depending on those factors.
Help us tell that story through your perspective! Rhode Islanders know Rhode Island food best.
YOUR VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL! Help us create a visual tapestry of Rhode Island’s unique and richly textured food system by sharing your photos with us.
