Arybella is a senior at the University of Rhode Island pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science with a minor in Social Justice and Civic Responsibilities. She is currently serving as a Compost Data & Policy Research Intern with the Rhode Island Food Policy Council. At URI, Arybella has engaged in interdisciplinary coursework and research that combines data analysis, policy, and social impact, with a particular focus on equity-driven decision-making.

Throughout her academic career, Arybella has worked on projects involving data analysis, survey design, and research related to public policy, environmental issues, and social justice. She has previously interned in a legislative setting, where she gained experience analyzing policy from a civic and governmental perspective. In addition, she has held leadership roles in student organizations, including serving as Treasurer and Vice President of the Society of Women in Computing, supporting initiatives that promote inclusion and professional development in technology.

Arybella is passionate about using data to inform policy solutions that address food systems, sustainability, and community well-being. She is excited to work with RIFPC to support research and data collection efforts that strengthen composting infrastructure and advance equitable food and environmental policy across Rhode Island.
