Circle this Wednesday, April 10th, on your calendar! It’s what we’re dubbing a “Triple Header Day,” as the House Finance Committee gears up to review not one, not two, but three crucial bills at 4pm in room 35 of the State House. In preparation, we’re asking you to “take action” and write not one, not two, but three letters to your legislators—one for each bill. This is your chance to “take action” on legislation that has impacts across Rhode Island.
Take 5 minutes to complete these important next steps by tomorrow – Tuesday, 4/9 (sooner if possible):
-
Write a letter in support of the Food Donation Tax Credit (Bills SB2757 and HB7995)
-
Write a letter in support of the Urban and Small Farms Tax Credit (Bill H7684)
Use the talking points and tips on writing a letter to legislators to draft your own personal letter. -
Write a letter in support of the Compost Fund (Bill H7856)
