Our Work
Rhody Feeding Rhody Alliance
Rhody Feeding Rhody is about building sustainable connections for local farmers and fishers with food pantries, food rescue organizations, food distributors, and other partners so that Rhode Islanders in need of fresh, local, culturally-appropriate food have better and more consistent access to it. RIFPC is one of the founding partners, alongside the Commercial Fisheries Center of Rhode Island, Eating With the Ecosystem, Farm Fresh RI, and Southside Community Land Trust.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Rhode Island farmers and fishers have become more invested than ever in ensuring food security for their food insecure neighbors. We’re excited to see the Rhody Feeding Rhody Alliance grow this market, increasing the viability of our farm and seafood businesses while putting fresh, healthy local food on tables across the state.”
