Help advance wasted food solutions in Rhode Island!
The annual Rhode Island Compost Conference & Trade Show brings together Rhode Islanders who want to network, trade ideas, and learn more about compost and the food waste ecosystem. This year’s conference will share best practices in composting food waste, providing you with knowledge of many different composting methods and a good sense of what tactics typically do —and don’t— work.
This event is for anyone who’s eager to learn alternative methods of food waste disposal, including composters, haulers, municipality personnel, students, faculty, administrators, food business operators, or anyone who wants to improve composting and food waste knowledge and broaden your food waste solutions network.
It’s a full day of learning and connection.
This year’s event will feature nationally recognized keynote speakers, four tracks of morning and afternoon panels representing solutions for municipal and community food waste, surplus and wasted food in schools and helping businesses, over 15 local and regional exhibitors, and an ice cream social to close the day!
